Dominic J. Gerard

Dominic J. Gerard passed away on February 18, 2024 at the age of 60. He was the beloved husband of Michele for 28 years and the loving father of Andrew. Dominic was the cherished brother of the late Rosa (the late Larry), Sarah (Charles), Joseph (Mary), James (Betty), and the late Robert. He was also a dear brother-in-law of David (Patricia), Jennifer (Randy), and Christina (Vincent). Dominic was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Joseph. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dominic worked for Inovision Software Solutions and was a committed member of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) of Sterling Heights. He devoted time to working with MCREST and volunteered at the Apple Festival for St. Lawrence Church. Dominic enjoyed camping up north, going to the shooting range, and evenings by the bonfire. Spending time with his wife, son and family; especially siblings, brought him so much joy. Dominic will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation for Dominic will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 4 to 8pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 44633 Utica Road in Utica. Friends may visit the church beginning at 9:30am.
