Not sure what to say?

It´s October 14 , 2022. Oh how time has flown. Randomly came across this site when looking up your name and thought I could use this as an outlet. I just wanted to thank you for the great memories and smiles you gave . Everybody looked up to ( literally) and you always lead by example. Always thinking about you and grandma. Love you guys!

Most of what I know about my Grandfather I learned from my Dad. He told me about how Grandpa passed down his values, his love, his talents and his respect to his children, who in turn passed it on to theirs.

I'll always remember Grandpa in his chair, or at the dinner table, surrounded by a family that loved and respected him.

I’ve always admired my grandfather, the way I admire great athletes, inventors, martyrs … people who live their life with passion, honor, grace, and dignity – people who love what they do. That’s my grandfather. He was larger-than-life and commanded respect, but he could make you laugh. He loved to make people laugh. And how curious to see this strong man with large, rough hands – from years of hard work - grip a microphone – and sing like an angel. He loved to sing. He loved music. He...

My earliest memory of my Grandpa is him getting candy from his secret hiding spot to share with me when Grandma left to go to the store. He was always quick to smile and laugh. He was strong and smart and his love for his family was evident in his words and actions. The love he had for my Grandma was that of fairy tales. He was the kind of man that would hug his children, sing a love song to his wife, drink a beer with one of the men, and play cards or dominos with friends. He lived his life...

Dearest Lucy and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. It's been so many years, but I remember Dominic with fondness. My Prayers are with you all.

Men like Dominic Monistere don’t die. They’re forged from steel and iron. They are the very embodiment of strength. To see that strength, look no further than the strong roots of the family tree he and Grandma Ducci planted. Look at the strong limbs of the tree… they’re far-reaching, but remain close to home. They remain close to their roots. As long as Grandpa’s blood courses through his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren… Dominic Monistere will never die.
The tears...

My whole life, I always thought that we had a special relationship more than any of my cousins or even aunts and uncles. I never really understood why I ALWAYS felt that way. There was something different about our relationship, better than yours with anybody else. At least that's the way it seemed to me everytime you focused your attention and love my way. Then, as I stood at your side the other day with my cousins I looked around the room at all the people in the church, some with tears of...

I smile now when I think of my grandfather, ... a strong presence in my childhood memory. Dom earned everyone's unflinching respect by adhering strictly to a life of LOVE (to Lucy and all all of our wonderful family), INTEGRITY (in every aspect of his business, personal and financial), and TRADITION, demonstrated in his contagious love for music, dance, geneology, food & travel. Much Love to you, and to all those tied to so tightly to the MONISTERE family tree.

Dad,
I can only imagine the happiness you feel now that you’re with your mom, your dad, and the brothers that went before you. Thankfully, the pain is over now; yours for the suffering you endured, ours for having to see it. It’s difficult to describe my feelings today, but you know me well. You know how thankful I am to you for so many things. Most of all, thanks for loving all of us so much… it was always in your eyes. We all miss you of course, Mama most of all - but rest assured,...
