It is difficult to say goodbye to someone that you love. Dominic Perrone held a special place in my heart.. first as my NFA Drum Corps leader .. and then as my friend. He played music beautifully because it came from his heart. He was a good man with an amazing personality. So many people grew to love him over the years. I will never forget his laugh, smile.
Goodbye my friend Dominic I love you.

My husband and I frequented Skippers Dock on Sundays to hear Charlie Holland and Dom play. We so enjoyed meeting Dom, getting to know him and we loved his playing. We met the other players as well and it was such a treat to listen to such great music.
Your Dom was a very nice man, a gentle soul and someone who so enjoyed sharing his love of music with all. We miss that special group of musicians every Sunday.

Mr. Perrone was was my next door neighbor, my trumpet and french horn teacher, and my best friend's dad. He was always a class act. He had a gentle calm soul. His playing ability brought music into the lives of thousands of people throughout the years. I felt very fortunate to have known him since childhood. He will be missed by all that had the good fortune to have known him. Keep playing the music up on the big stage!

Dominic taught one of my brothers how to play the trumpet. He came to our family home to give him trumpet lessons way back in the early 1950's. He was a wonderful teacher and an excellent musician. In more recent years I attended Christmas events at which Dominic performed. He presented trumpet music so beautifully that the audience was held spellbound and in awe. Many of us felt moved to tears by Dominic's powerful delivery of music that profoundly touched us at a seriously deep level. ...
