Dominic James Squatrito

Dom was a larger than life figure at Wesleyan---a great athlete, campus leader, an accomplished student, a very nice individual and one of the two or three students who sparked active campus support for the Civil Rights movement. After law school he visited us in New York, and we had many wonderful times with him then and in the years afterwards, including your visit to us in those earlier years (and the wonderful pasta he sent to us). I had the privilege of knowing Judge Squatrito when I worked at the federal court. He was a wonderful, compassionate, fair jurist and it was my pleasure and privilege to have known him. I know he will be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.
