Not sure what to say?

I tried one of my first cases after law school with Dominick as the opposing attorney. After the case concluded, he made helpful suggestions to me as to how I could improve on my next trial! We remained friends over the next 47 years. Dominick was not only smart, but kind and thoughtful as well. He will be greatly missed.

I grew up playing in the Church Street and Marine Street area with Donnie and the Laurence and Kountz families. I have nothing but fond memories of him. I later moved to Pensacola and lost track of many of my friends. When I heard that Donnie was a judge. I wanted to go visit him in his office, but never did it or regret that.

My husband and I chatted with Dominick most Friday mornings at Carpe Diem restaurant for over 10 years. He always had a joyful spirit. He was extremely knowledgeable, humble, and fun. Also he spoke lovingly about his dear family. We´ll miss him deeply and send prayers to his grieving relatives

Mary Jo, Elsie and I are thinking and praying with you during this sad time. Dominick was such a treasure and a blessing to all. I was so fortunate to share some time with him just days ago. We are out of town but there is no distance in the Spirit

A fine person and devotee of our judicial system. Dominick was my moot court partner and I was the first dinner guest Mary Jo hosted as a new bride when Dominick and I were working on our case, which we won. RIP old friend and May God bless those you loved and were loved by.

A profound, erudite, accomplished, and kind man whose wisdom was shared by all who were his friends. He will be missed by many.

I´m so sorry for your loss Mary Jo. Sending prayers to you and your family.

My family joins me in expressing our heartfelt sorrow and sympathy at the loss of Dominick. We will keep you close in our hearts and pray that our Lord holds you close in His Arms as you grieve Dominick´s passing. With our love, Mary Lou Layden and Family
