The sadness of not seeing Uncle Nick at family gatherings, the emptiness of not being able to talk or share a joke with him can only be bared by knowing his presence was a grace to me and that he will bring a smile to my face whenever I think of him as the loving and friendly man he was (and still is in my heart.)
