My most sincere sympathy to the family of Dommie. My father and Mother, Grady Kelley, of Shreveport (grew up in Elysian Fields with Dommie) spoke very fondly and often of Dommie. Dommie's obituary was lovely and it truly sounds like he did live a very, very good life.

I love the story Dad Culbertson tells of when he took my grandson to visit him. Dommie asked if he wanted candy and Michael told him no, it wasn't good for him and he would prefer broccoli. Dad C said...

I remember the first time I went to youth group in the 7th grade and going through the hamburger line. There was Mr. Dommie serving with a smile on his face and always a kind word. I know my Dad always loved played golf with Dommie. My sympathy goes out to Dommie and Marsha.

Was so sad to hear about Dommie. I know he is at rest and at peace. He is hanging out with the Mangum gang! I always will have fond memories of his smile, humor and his great personality. RIP Mr Dommie till we meet again.
