Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

Just found out that this Guest Book was here for us to 'spend a little more time with Don'....We cherish our memories of spending time at our home with Jackie and Don, as well as being with them at the Jazz Festival.
We have an angel on our shoulders to lift us up!

Nothing was more exciting than a Los Angeles Dodger rally with Don Beamsley " on the Wurlitzer organ! He always sent the crowd into a frenzy when he played the notes to "Charge".

We're so sorry to hear that Don passed away, Jackie. We'll always remember the happy hours we spent listening to Don play.
Carol and Bob

My dad was Frank Slavens. He and Don met up as teens in Long Beach and played together in Leighton Noble's band.
I think that my dad was always a little envious of Don since Don made a sucessful career in music, something that only a handful of the old musicians were able to do after the war.
My condolences to all of you.

I only came to know Don for only about a month he was at the same nursing facility as my father they shared the same room.
Jackie was a constant companion, to Don, very loving, and also to us when we visited, we kept each other company, Our thoughts and prayers are with the family,
We will miss both Don and Jackies presence.
God Bless
