Not sure what to say?

Mr. Bickel was an asset as a volunteer at the Adult Education Center, Wake Technical Community College. The students and teachers looked forward to him coming.

I am very sorry to hear the news. Our heartfelt condolences to Mark and the family.

Don was a great neighbor and a great friend. We had many enlightening conversations and he love it when we brought him dinners from the Angus Barn. He will be missed and we rejoice in his presence with the Lord.

Dear Geof, We lift you in prayer as you continue to honor your Father. You were certainly a blessing to him and so many others in your life. I have certainly enjoyed all the stories Candy has shared of you both. We love you!

On behalf of the staff at the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation we offer our deepest condolences to the Bickel family. While this is a difficult time, please know that as a foundation we can offer support and information to your family as you move forward. We sincerely hope you will join the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in the fight to permanently eliminate this disease.

I am so sad to hear this news. I was the volunteer coordinator at NCCIW for years, and Mr. Bickel was a wonderful volunteer. He helped so many young women reach their potential, and his kindness was legendary. We all looked forward to seeing him when he arrived because he was able to brighten even the darkest of places. What a kind a heart; what a special man. The world is a better place because he was in it. My thoughts are with his family because I know how much he will be missed.

Memory Lane

And now about 30 years later, this past summer, David and I spent an enormously gracious...

My Good Friend has gone to be with the Lord and Betty. Don gave me so much help and direction in life on business, on people and on God's wishes. Don made me think deeper.Thank you Don. God, please hold Don close as he did us.
