Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your loss. Don was a great, kind man and I will miss working with him. I will be unable to make the memorial service but my prayers are with Grace, Bill and Ann and the rest of the family.

Don was a wonderful Uncle; when I was a child he made me laugh and later, his philosophy of life helped ease me through the concerns of adult life. A great fellow to emulate!

Don was a great father-in-law for the time Pat & I were together and I couldn't have asked for a better Grandfather for Gwen. His compassion, love and humor will be missed by everyone that knew him. I was my honor to be part of his life.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of our dear friend Don. He was a faithful member of Trinity UMC and always in attendance at Sunday School. We loved his Olie jokes at Kiwanis, and he will be deeply missed by many. Katie Orent, Secretary, Golden K Kiwanis of GR & Parish Nurse @ TUMC

I worked at Porter Hills for 12 years and came to know Don quite well. It was always fun to see the delight on his face when he told his Ole jokes :) Please accept my sympathy on your loss.

Bill and Pat and families,

Our thoughts and prayers to all of you. Your father, Don, and mother, Jean, were such good friends of our parents Ed and Phyllis Hopper for so many years. Church, travel, and Florida, to name a few ways they were connected. Once your mom had passed, then Grace was so kind to them as well. Your father lived a good and honorable life. That is a comfort.
