In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Don will be missed. I enjoyed his mellow and friendly personality. Don was a better chess player than myself. I still remember our last game where he pinned me with his rook on the 8th rank for the win. Every time he saw me he asked if I was up for some chess. Wish he were still here for a game. I loved hearing Don play the piano, he was so smooth and capable and entertaining. I still have a coupon I bought at the Card Reunion auction for Don to play music at a wedding or other gathering....

Don and I were best friends in high school. We both were learning to play the Chopin Ballades. He loved to play my grand piano. Playing chess, Don left me way behind. We drifted apart but I always had the wonderful memories of our music and our conversations at moments in our lives. My condolences to all of you in his passing.

Don my step-dad and my mother Maureen were married in 97 when I was 17 years old. I have many fun memories with Don from dinners, parties, vacations, listening to him play piano and going to the symphony with him. He was also a wonderful grandpa to my son Jaden. Jaden spent a lot of time at grandma and grandpa house while I worked. I will miss Don and will cherish the fun times we had.
