Not sure what to say?

To the Carlos family
I have just run across Don's obituary today, 11/2/15. Don was my godfather and as a child I was crazy about him. My mother, Edith Lagneaux Millet, lived in Houma with Aunt Alice and Uncle Irving, and was very close with Don. I am sure he was surprised to be ask to be my godfather because he was just a teen ager at the time. (I am 74). He was always great and I still have a pearl necklace that he brought to me from some place he was stationed in the Navy. When my...

Dear Family,

I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of your father. I worked for him in his home office for several years and those were some of the best years in my working world. Your dad was so funny, caring, thoughtful, and always held a special place in my heart. He and your mother were very fine people, indeed, and I am privileged to have had the pleasure of knowing them both. God bless.

We are so sorry for the passing of not only a great Doctor but a wonderful, caring and christian Person. Dr Carlos took care of my wife and myself for many many years. He always spoke about what he cooked and asked if I cooked anything good. I will keep he and your Mother in my prayers and pray for the consolation of all of his family.

Keitha, Don Felipe, Kakie, Manya, Paula and Dr. Gary. We're sharing in your sorrow on the passing of your Dad, my very favorite first cousin, and I will forever keep Don in my thoughts and prayers. My brother Dr. Charles Bertrand from Opelousas and I regret that we cannot be with you all and your families for the funeral services, due to Charles's pediatric practice and our prior commitments. I'm grateful that cousin Shirley Judice and I planned a family reunion in 1989, when 17 of...

We missed him when he retired from his practice in Houma and moved to Florida. Now more people will miss him. Thank you, Doc Carlos for caring for my wife all those years. Rest in Peace.

My condolences and prayers for Don's Family. May he rest in peace.

To the family: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May the peace of God that excels all thought bring comfort during this most difficult time. Phillipians 4:6,7
