Don Verlin Coleman

I met Don in 1964 in Mr. Jerry Harris’ A Cappella Choir at Sunset High School, Portland Oregon. We became practically inseparable during the following summer before he went off to Oregon State and I went back to high school, my senior year. He treated me like a princess and was always the perfect gentleman. I believe he has always been quite the charmer.

But then dating became challenging as I went away to college in Utah and Don remained in Oregon. Our actual time together was...

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. We were great friends in high school and college at OSU. We unfortunately lost contact soon after college only seeing each other once at a high school reunion. He inspired me musically and our family will never forget his piano playing at our wedding reception. I am so sorry to hear of his troubles in later life. Hope he is at peace now.

Don and I knew each other professionally and personally in the late 1970's. We circulated in the same crowd; I remember him as being friendly, kind, and a lot of fun. He was a wonderful guy. Altho we lost touch, I often thought of him through the years.

Though we have never met,we share the same last name,and aprox 3 wks ago I lost my brother with the same name Donald E Coleman, and age....Rest in peace sir,,my condolences to your family
