I only recently learned of Don's passing. Very sad. I had lunch one day in 2011 with Don in Yuma Arizona. He stopped to visit a mutual friend and I just happened to be there. He shared High Chapparel stories (a program that coincided with my high school years and I watched religiously) with us as well as others. I remember him in the westerns but I liked the one where he pushed a plate of food in Elvis' face although I do not remember the name of that movie. I asked him for an autographed...
