Don was my UPS driver for 25 years First At Richards Accurate Automotive and then at MacMechanic where I employed Sean his son...Any time that I wound up with County Bowl tickets I would take Don and his wife because Don was a walking Music encyclopedia! Don was such a decent, caring person.. When I leaned about the Cancer 4 years ago I thought they had caught it in time so he could enjoy his retirement. Oh, no. I knew Don from SBHS. When I heard about Don's cancer, I meant to seek him out to say farewell. It would have been a sorrow to me, but I should have told him how much I would miss seeing him around. A wonderful, wonderful man. I loved how he would always wave to me, from his UPS Van or when he was out running, whenever and wherever our paths happened to cross. It was fun being locals and recognizing that. We are sorry to hear of your loss. Saying good bye to a loved one is so very difficult. Cherish all of your memories. A special note to Sean: We know your dad was a guiding light in your life. Hold fast to your memories of your dad. We are sorry you had to say good-bye so soon.
