Not sure what to say?

Don Francis;
My trusted colleague, best friend and forever love. You made me laugh and helped me remember what's truly important in life. I thank you for making me feel like your princess day in day out and for making me a better person.
You are the strongest man I know.
Thank you for all of your sweet, selfless gifts.
God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
I will miss and love you forever,
Cecilia

Cecelia: there are no words to express my sadness. don and I have been friends since high school. I am so glad we kept in touch all these years. and I am so glad I got to know and spend time with you. you made a great team. my heart and love go out to you. please let's stay in touch.

It is easy to see how Don was so respected along with Cecilia because of their professionalism and friendly way of life. I am glad to have had the time working with both but Don is a heavy loss to humanity.
My heart goes out to Cecilia and family for their loss.

Don and I worked together as detectives for many years. He became my best friend in every sense of the word. Once we both retired he was the only former colleague that maintained regular contact with me even after I moved out of the Sarasota area. I will miss my friend.

Don will most certainly be missed. We will never forget his kindness and clever sense of humor. Please know that we are here for you Cecelia.

GOD BLESS BOTH DON IN HEAVEN AND CECILIA HERE IN OUR EARTHLY LIFE. MY HUSBAND AND I MET DON ON AN AIRPLANE HEADING TO JAMAICA IN 1983. HIS HUMOR AND WONDERFUL PERSONALITY BONDED US FOR THE PAST 32 YEARS. WE PLAYED CARDS TOGETHER FOR YEARS AND HAD SO VERY MUCH FUN WITH DON. I AM SO VERY GLAD THAT I VISITED DON AND CECILIA IN 9-2014. THEIR LOVE IS A BOND THAT WILL REMAIN FOREVER. THEIR LAUGHTER AND OUTLOOK ON LIFE MADE YOU LAUGH EVEN WHEN YOU WANTED TO CRY. HOPEFULLY, WE HAVE ALL LEARNED...

DON AND HIS WIFE CECILIA BOTH WORKED FOR THE SARASOTA SHERIFFS OFFICE DURING MY TENURE THERE. HE WAS A QUIET MAN BUT AN EXCELLENT DETECTIVE AND SERVED HIS COMMUNITY WELL AS SUCH. CECILIA, AS WAS DON, WAS AN ASSET TO THE SSO AND WAS THE PERFECT MATE. SHE WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED FOR THE LOVING CARE SHE PROVIDED DON. MAY GOD BLESS THE FAMILY.
