Don Scott Hatcher

I met Scott a very long time ago when I was going thru a very horrific divorce and he was so intuitive to the pain it caused, and was so comforting. His heart was so big and comforting to me at that time. We dated briefly and he took me to one of my first concerts...Diana Ross...it was an incredible night and to this day I still have our photo. I also had Mr Hatcher´s first marine biology class at WP High School. He gave me extra credit for dissecting a frogs brain and spinal cord so I could get a B in his class. Very cool teacher RIP

I´m so sorry to learn of Scott´s passing. I was in his very first class at Winter Park High School. He looked so young that at Parents Night everyone thought he was a student. He was an excellent teacher and very funny. He went out of his way to form connections with his students. Some of us found out where he lived and even went to his house wanting to hang out with him.
