Don Hatfield, 86, of Hardy, KY, passed away Friday January 12, 2024, at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Ky.
Don was born September 15, 1937, at Ransom, KY, he was the son of the late Jonah and Mable McCoy Hatfield. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Everett Hatfield, Dock Hatfield, and Dorse Hatfield; and sisters, Phylada (Hatfield) Smith, Lilly (Hatfield) Crawley, and Nancy Faye (Hatfield) Dotson
Don was a retired Coal Miner, Entrepreneur, (Big D Mart) and a Veteran of the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne. He loved his family and pretty women.
Survivors include Melanie Donn Hatfield, Jonah Dean (Gina) Hatfield, Stephanie Dee Hatfield Boytek,  children of Jannas and Dorse Hatfield.
Great nieces and nephews, Jonah Dean (Megan) Hatfield II, Joshua Bruin Hatfield, Gia Victoria Hatfield, Joseph Forrest Hatfield, and Stevie Dee (Tyler) Boytek-Hall.  His great-great nieces and nephews, Jonah Dean Hatfield III, Samuel Dorse Hatfield, Oliver Don Hatfield, Quinn Rose Diane Hatfield; one sister Patsy Ruth (Hatfield) Salmons and a host of other family and friends.
