Not sure what to say?

To the family of Don, I would like express my deepest condolescences. Although very late, as I just learned of Don's passing. I grew up in Lupton with the Heatons as Ruth Ann was my best friend as a child. Don was a very important part of my childhood. Again, please accept my condolences, although late.

Nancy, I took this picture the last time I saw him at a South Alabama basketball game. I usually sit with Jeff at the games.

Dear Nancy and family, I have never met you but I was blessed to grow up within the Lupton Friends Church community when Don's wonderful father was our minister and my father was the song leader. I remember what a gentle and kind person Don was and I have fond memories of those Sunday School classes, youth group and VBS activities that we all participated in together. May the wonderful memories you have of Don sustain you through these days and be comforted that he rests in the arms of our...

Lupton Church abt 1957

To the family of Don, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember as a child watching Don throw that ball at the taped out box on his garage, always working to make himself better. I have only good memories of all the Heatons including Rev. Don Heaton who made all his children and all of rest of the children of Lupton much better people. Don is bottom row second from left.

Eddie Tilitz

I only learned of his passing, today via my brother seeing it on face book. I am in shock as anyone who knew Don would be as he was so full of life and fun as I knew him. He and I played so much ball together!! I would have come if I had known in time. I love all you that I have known,...

I am sorry for your loss. Don was a very kind gentleman, a real professional and leader in I.T. Services. I had the privilege of knowing Don through my employer, Rayco, that supplied computer parts and printers to the dealerships.

Sweet Nancy,
I so remember the happiness and joy you shared with your precious Don - a rare and deep abiding love. I remember your excitement over your engagement ring and the many things you shared with me about your love for him. And he absolutely adored you!! My prayer for you is that you will find joy, love and peace in all the precious memories of the time you shared together. You are a special lady and you added many wonderful days to his life....and to mine. I love you both. Love...
