We are so sad to just be finding out about the passing of our friend Don. He would come stay with us every 2 - 3 years in Maggie Valley. Had not seen or heard from him and now know why. So enjoyed our visits, talking about racing, and motorcycle rides. Don was a Great sweet soul and so missed. RIP Don

Together celebrating our friends wedding. You were a great friend and neighbor.

Don was a friend, neighbor and co-worker (Olympia Police Dept.) He could always be counted on. He was awesome with my kids. Most of all we had fun. One of my best memories was our 3 day trip from Olympia to Kansas City, MO. and back in a two wheel drive pick up (in the snow) to get his '69 Torino race car (formerly David Pearson's car). Waking up to the snow blowing backwards as the trailer led the way at 70 mph was very interesting as was Don's explanation to the Colorado State Trooper...
