Not sure what to say?

The best orthopedic Sergeant ever and he was a very kind hearted person. I thought of him because I just had surgery on right arm and I notice how different the procedure and recovery time was when he did the surgery . I miss you Dr. Johnston.

Dr. Johnston was the greatest doctor I ever went to. Compassionate and Caring was the way he dealt with his patients. I miss him so much.

Dr. Johnston was familiar with me over the years. He repaired my broken thumb, did a couple of knee surgeries, and squished out a couple of nasty blood clots on my front shin from taking a softball off the shin. This he seems to take delight in lol. His "bedside" manner was impeccable and with humor. He will be missed, and I send prayers of support and comfort to the family. Through his faith and my own I know I will see him again.

I was a patient of Dr J - (my name for him) we met on the helipad after being care flighted from Grapevine to Euless with compound fracture. He helped save my ankle and foot. Dwi hit my Mom and I head on. I am shocked to see his obituary. I was 17 and he put up with my resistance to his orders and got me through my healing. I would go in and he was always joking but stern with me. Miss you and a great doctor.

you fought the good fight.

I've been a patient of Dr. Johnston for thirty years, and was profoundly saddened to hear of his death. We both went to Texas Tech, and I enjoyed sharing our memories of college days in Lubbock, back when the world was less complicated. He was a great physician, and I always felt uplifted, upon leaving his office. To his family, friends and staff, you are in my prayers. Most sincerely, Mattie Rutherford Thompson

I just heard from my son about Dr. Johnston's passing...I was shocked!!! I was in his office less than a year ago for a knee injury and as usual he had me laughing the entire time!!! Prayers to his family and staff...

I just found out and as a patient I felt surprisingly devastated. He was a great doctor and wonderful human being.

I did not know about Dr. Johnston's passing until today when I received the letter regarding his office closing permanently. I loved Dr. Johnston and loved listening to his stories.
Please accept my very deepest and sincerest condolences.
