Don Roy Keller

I remember Don, Frank and Richie from the years they live in Presque Isle, ME. Don was my first "best friend" and I always thought Don and I would meet again. He and I were 10 when his family moved to Colorado Springs in 1956. I am so sad to learn of his loss, and sorry it took 14 years to do so. Would enjoy hearing from any of the family who may see this message. RIP, Don, my bud.

Gretchen (Pool)Davis and I were just looking over the yearbook last week and were wondering where many of our friends were for the 40th reunion, and Don happened to be one of them. I sincerely send his family my condolences because this is a great loss for you, I know, I lost my son December 29th. My heart and prayers go out to you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those who loved Don. I was at North and Palmer with Don and will always remember his terrific smile. I'm glad he was able to pursue his dream.

My sympathy to Don's family and friends. Don worked for my folks at Santa's Workshop. I remember watching his magic shows many times since I worked there at the same time he did. I also remember Don making a 7 Up commercial. He was laughing because he felt he put on 5 pounds because he had to drink so much 7 Up making the commercial. I'll always remember all of the good things about Don and his talent at the Pole. I will remember him with a smile.

My condolences to the Keller family/ Don was one of my great and best friends through Junior High and part of High school. I was his assistant in many of his magic shows at that time. He was truly talented and an orignial thinker, full of energy and enthusiasm --sparkle and showmanship! I tremendously enjoyed helping perform the tricks and the opportunity to work with him / he gave me a lot of confidence to go on and try other creative endeavors on my own. I haven't seen Don since we graduated from high school together. I know from school days that he was an incredibly gentle and kind person. If the world were composed of people like Don, we wouldn't have wars, crime, or problems. May God Abundantly Bless

I didn't know Don personally, but worked with his brother, Frank. My condolences to the family. You must miss Don very much. Remember the good times and your favorite memories of the experiences you shared as a family.

I'm glad to hear Don was able to follow his dream of becoming an entertainer. I remember he had a flair for it in North Jr. High when we were in choir and he had a solo lead in a musical, "The Lowland Sea". Sadly, his co-star Vicki Sappenfield has also passed away. I have a photo of Don dressed up in a mop wig with a group of guys doing the Charleston -- pretty bold for junior high! Don was also in a Palmer High School '64 touring talent show I was in doing his magic act. I'd forgotten about...
