Not sure what to say?

It is difficult to believe it has been over 2 years since Don moved on to his next phase of life. I think of him everyday and remember what an amazing, talented, and accomplished man he was. I still hear his beautiful voice singing or just talking with me. He was my very special friend and I miss him still. Until we meet again Dear Don.

It has been a year since Don returned to his heavenly home. I have thought of him everyday since then, and continue to hear his eloquent voice as I recall the many conversations we shared over the past 50+ years. He was an intelligent, extremely talented, and truly remarkable person; and will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Don was one of my good friends growing up in Rose Park. We attended the same schools in elementary, junior high and high school. He was a true gentleman and friend. So sorry to see him go. Allen Johnson

I met Don when we had a class together at the University of Utah. I was impressed by his kindness and intelligence. Although I never participated in Mormon youth, I attended many concerts and enjoyed watching Dawn perform. I am sorry for your loss.

Don was always fun to be around and "up beat" sharing his talents unselfishly. It was my pleasure to know him. Condolences to his family

My heart and prayers are with Don's family at this time. I met Don shortly after he returned from his mission while he attended the Dai Ichi Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with my Mother. He lived just down the street from us, so we were able to see each other frequently and soon became very close friends. As life would have it, job opportunities took me and my children out of state for over 20 years. Don and I reconnected last year after 40+ years, and were...

I grew up with Don who lived on my street. Most memories are from Northwest Jr High and also West High School. Don kept in touch with many of us who considered his friends. He was amazing on the Drums. Many assemblies he was given a loud applause and standing ovation for his drum solos. He will be missed but remembered as a great person and well liked by many. He will be missed with our West High Class of 1966 Alumni FB group. Rest In Peace Don.

Don was a bundle of optimism with a love for his Savior and the Restored Gospel with his endearing smile and jovial laugh despite the challenges in his life. He will always be my dear special friend. His musicianship during our years in Mormon Youth Symphony and Chorus were without peer. God gave Don a special gift and sensitivity for the beautiful world around him which many of us do not possess. He would amaze me with his Gospel knowledge and curiosity and love for scholars such as Hugh...
