Don was a one of a kind person. Smart, funny and with a big heart. His big personality will be missed! I met Don in high school. Kim and Don became friends when they were little boys. We shared a lot of fun times together with Don and Cindy. Heartfelt condolences to Cindy, Katy, Mrs. Mason and Mike.

I grew up in Colonial Heights. Don was a few years older than me. We crossed paths quite frequently in his professional career. Don was always polite and respectful. He will be missed by our community.

Fond memories of a former college roommate and fellow attorney. Donnie always treated those around him, whether younger or of a different temperament, with respect. His smile and sense of fairness were constant. All honor to his name.

Will always remember Don´s contagious smile and quick, witty take on life and the things around us growing up in Kingsport. He always had a positive comment and a person would feel better after meeting him. I will miss him.
