I lived with Don while we were at SMU. We were teammates and roommates. Don was a great football player but even a greater family man. My deepest condolences to the entire McIlhenny family. I will miss my teammate! John Marshall

Linda and I offer our sincere condolences to the McIIhenny family over the loss of Don. He was a fine gentlemen and a fierce competitor even at the age of 52 when we played together in the 1986 SMU Alumni game. He will he sorely missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace.
