Don and family...we sure miss seeing sitting on the boulevard on game days. You are missed.

Lance, Lott and family. We were so sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. Waht a wonderful man and extraordicnary life he lived. Now he and Jan are back together. I rmenber playing in a spring game with your Dad and was the running back. Never backed donw. Our thougths and prayers are with you.

I lived with Don while we were at SMU. We were teammates and roommates. Don was a great football player but even a greater family man. My deepest condolences to the entire McIlhenny family. I will miss my teammate! John Marshall

Don was a teammate of mine at SMU in 1950-54. Good friend and a good guy.

Lott and Lance --- So sorry to hear about your loss. I never met your dad, but I heard a lot about him. He was an all-time great on an off the field. He lives on in you and the rest of your family. Keep the faith and Pony Up...

Linda and I offer our sincere condolences to the McIIhenny family over the loss of Don. He was a fine gentlemen and a fierce competitor even at the age of 52 when we played together in the 1986 SMU Alumni game. He will he sorely missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace.
