Not sure what to say?

Carole, Tony, and family,
So sorry to hear of Don's passing. I'll always have fond memories of 'The Don' of 63rd street. All the great food from 'The Pit" and way too many hours eating it and hanging out in the Mobil station across the street. Then Don would come over and shag us out.
Yep, goin' miss Don.

Dearest Aunt Carole; I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing. How wonderful you were married for such a long time. I am sure you were very happy. I hope to see you over Labor Day weekend. Love Laura Jean

Mrs. Michalek, Tony and Family:

I am deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Mr. Michalek. I have many great memories of my teenage years, as he was always a major influence and shared a great part of life with me.

My sincere thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.
Love Tom Scheide

Carole and family,
My sincerest condolences to all of you.
At the Charcoal Pit, Don was my first and most impressionable boss.
His way of doing business has guided me for over 35 years.
My memories of his way remind me of the Grand opening
celebration in which I played Tiny the Clown, and all fanfare
including the Welcome Mayor Daley sign Don hung across 63rd
street. I always think of him when I do something he taught me,
and when I am passing on that knowledge to...

Carol and all the rest:
Don was Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson all in one.....a real world shaker and a second pop to me....Joe w

Tony,

I was sorry to hear of your Father's passing. I can understand the impact of the loss of a family leader that did things "his way".

My thoughts and Prayers are with you and yours,

Hank Lepore

Remember all of the happy times for as life is a measured quantity love and memories are not.
With my families deepest sympathies,
