Not sure what to say?

How quickly the year has passed since our kind and thoughtful friend has departed this life! Carolyn and I had the privilege of being involved in teaching Don to fly in ultralights, an activity we all so thoroughly enjoyed. We still miss those warm, carefree times spent with Don and Judy, wonderful human beings, who were, indeed, a match made in heaven! Love you, Judy! Al & Carolyn Carpenter

I am heartbroken that I did not know about Don passing away. He was a wonderful man a kind soul who always helped me and took care of me with my car. I met him many years ago when I worked at Noland Co. I know its been a few months since his passing but his wife and family are in my thoughts and prayers. Don will be missed dearly and remembered always.

After the death of my husband, Sam Simkins, Mitch was always there to help me when I took my car into Bowditch for service. He was a very kind man and Judy was the love of his life. Sam and I were on several trips with Mitch and Judy when they won trips by Bowditch. They were so much fun to be with. I will always remember how Mitch helped me. I love you both, Judy, and always will. I'll bet Sam and Mitch are talking about there time together at Bowditch. Take care and God be with you...

My deepest condolences. May God's Holy Spirit be with the family. I pray that he brings comfort to you all at this difficult time.

What a privilege is was to know Mitch through his long time friend Russ Hamblett. Mitch is the epitome of a gentleman. Our hearts are hurting. We send our prayers for comfort and peace to Judi and all of Mitch´s family and friends. He will be missed but we shall meet again in His Kingdom come.

Dear Judy and family, As Mitch's Eye Doctor , of course he became my friend. He invited me to play golf at Deer Park with his " Group" And of course I returned the favor to play Kilmarnick.. What a Blast.. Then he invited me to Matthews County to fly in the twin seated ultralight aircraft and spent the afternoon flying all over the peninsula. We carried a bucket of water baloons to drop aver an X in a corn field and we came in 2nd place, my fault ! You could look down between your legs...

A great guy who will be missed by all ..

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will miss seeing you around. He was a very nice, caring and respectful person that made a great steak on the grill. Will miss your kindness.

Mitch became a member of our family when he married my niece, Judy. When they would come to NC ,to visit Judy´s grandparent, I would always see them. Mitch loved coming to family cookouts at my home on special reunions. He enjoyed the whole hog BBQ..and always helped with chopping. Mitch and my daddy, OB Fisher, had the best time laughing, telling jokes.. I know for a fact Mitch was loved by his NC family. Prayers for Judy and the family....
