Don Moody, 68 of Magnolia, Arkansas died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in Magnolia, Arkansas. He was born March 13, 1941 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Robert L. Moody, Sr. and Louise (Guraedy) Moody. Don was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Arkansas Cattleman's Association. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James M. Moody. Survivors are his brother, Bob Moody, Jr. of Springhill, Louisiana; nieces, Cindy Moody Freeman and husband Charlie of Lafayette, Louisiana, Leigh Moody of Bastrop, Louisiana; nephew, Trey Moody and wife Lisa of Springhill, Louisiana; great nieces and nephews, Grant Freeman, Ross Freeman, Chelsey Moody, and Peyton Moody; and numerous well loved friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Walter Smith officiating and assisted by Dr. Greg Payne. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, Louisiana under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tommy Preston, Steve Jones, Roger Burkes, Sean Allen, Harold Garrett, and Les Kent. Honorary pallbearers will be Bo Ray, Ricky Gordon, Randy Reeves, and the Spares and Pairs Sunday School Class.
