This is very saddening. I met Don via my line of work, I began helping him with various computer issues. I came out to his house on multiple occasions and I was very inspired by his story as I began to get to know him better. He was extraordinarily kind. This man was a legend! Don was truly a Legend in our community and really lived a great life. I am so sorry to hear the news of his passing. I was linked to Don through his son Cliffto. I interviewed Don about 6 years ago when his good friend Gil Stork was honored as a Cal Poly Honored Alumni. He had such good stories to tell. Somehow I ended up on his email distribution list and have been periodically receiving emails with scanned newspaper clippings and updates on recent events ever since.
