Don Nelson

Don was one of the most generous and funny guys you would ever want to meet. I spent many hours talking about fishing and life. The world is a sadder place without Don. My condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. Such a great guy. Don, see you on the river on the other side at some point buddy.

Donnie was a great friend, father and of course fisherman. We´re sorry for the families loss.

I am sad to hear of Don's passing. I bought my first, of many, fly rods from him over 20 years ago. The wealth of knowledge he shared with me over the years put me years ahead of the learning curve. Before every trip, I would visit River City to purchase flies or tying materials. Don would always round the cost down and throw in a few freebies, on top of sharing information that led me to catch more fish than I would have without him. He was the nicest guy and will be missed by everyone...
