Everyone here on the NSS Team has taken the news hard as we all thought the world of Don. He has especially meant a lot to me as he has served as a mentor for me since I have arrived. I came out of the Air Force in May 2004 and have worked with Don since June 2004. Don has done a great deal to help me to transition to civilian life and how to handle things like a civilian rather than a Sergeant. We also talked a great deal about Bama football! Don was a great, great man in my opinion.

Don was truly a great friend. I had the pleasure of working closely with him at NASA for many years. He was willing to help in any way he could and was always someone I could count on for sage advice. We will miss him dearly. Jeff, Stacy, Sam, Ben

Don was a great guy and one of the dynamic personalities of our Thiokol family. Not an easy thing to lose him so soon, but he will always be in our memories and stories of the good days at Thiokol.
