Not sure what to say?

Don's family,

Condolences to you for your loss. I worked with Don when we were both in our 20's at WSDOT. I remember him as a quiet conscientious man. I am sorry his life was cut so short.

My heart goes out to all who knew Don. I worked with Don at HDR Engineering in Portland and remember him as a consummate professional who did all he could to help others be successful. He will be missed by his friends and colleagues. My sincere condolences to his family and my former colleagues at HDR.

Don was a great roommate during our first year at OSU. He was a fabulous friend, and KDR brother. Thanks to Don I enjoy many wonderful memories including our dinner in San Francisco with The Sex Pistols prior to their final concert .... trying to figure out how we'd pay for our double date when we had no money .... the dozens of young ladies he helped arrange to serenade me on my 21st birthday .... and of course the wonderful hospitality when i visited in Union .... So glad we were able to...

That was a beautiful memorial service. The kids all did a great job, the slide show was excellent, and Kriss' letter was very touching. Don would have been very proud!

Always a great loss to see that someone part of the family has passed. Lots of smiles when I think back to the days we were all together! Don, you were caring, engaged and worked hard to stay connected with us all. You were a great example of a brother to me. Deepest condolence and warmest regards.

Kriss and family,
No words can express the sorrow we feel at this time. Don was a wonderful Christian man. Some of our fondest memories were from the times we spent at family camp at WiNeMa. You will be in our prayers and thoughts in the coming months.

Don was and will always be a fraternity brother, his life was cut short, his legacy will live on. Rest In Peace........

One of the first people I got to know after arriving at KDR in Corvallis was Don. A fun loving, funny guy who could also be a very quiet and serious person when he needed to be. His presence will be missed by many for some time to come.

Don was a great leader and will be greatly missed. Condolences to his family ... he was far too young to go. Jon Dunham
