Not sure what to say?

Dear Peterman Family

Though much time has gone by since I have even made contact with your family, I will not forget time spent in a variety of ways with Keith and your family. Don was larger than life in terms of us kids and his profession. Those memories of the Gleasons, Merrills, Petermans, and the Pallingers hold true in the heart and good times gone by.

I am so sorry for your loss of Don. I hope all of the families are doing well.

Dear Donnie,

I still remember both the "ludwigger", and also the "bulldozer to the brain", although I don't remember which was which. One was administered at the top of the head with a knuckle, and the other at the base of the skull with the flat of the hand. I should have asked you to clarify the position when last I saw you at Las Brisas for the "Senile Seahawks" luncheon.

RIP, mate.

Sally and Family, I like many knew Donnie from the bakery. When I heard he died I was touched because we all remember Donnie as such a 'good' guy. Donnie always seemed glad to see you and had a certain quiet sincere charm about him. I send my deepest sympathy. Wish there were more Donnies in the world! Sharon Davis

I remember our fun times as teens and then to catch your name on movie credits was exciting.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends during this very sad time.

Dear Donnie,

We shared some wonderful times as teenagers, and I will always remember them.

We were all very lucky growing up in the South Bay. Wish Mike and I could be there to farewell you. I'm just glad that we were able to see you and talk with you last year at the "Senile Seahawks" lunch at Las Brisas.

RIP. JoAnn Gillis O'Connor Geonetta

Don, I'll miss you as will we all. You always made me smile with your wry humor from Redondo High, through 22nd Street, the "Deck", and Senile.
