I replaced Don as Agency Director in the East Bay in 1976. We bought the Raker's house in Sonoma County, and the Rakers left a bottle of nice wine in the fireplace, with a warm welcome note. Our meetings after, always ended with Don's offer to buy our house for "what we'd paid for it". Great sense of humor! A really good guy!
