Not sure what to say?

Dear Linda,
My thoughts and prayers go to you and your family. My husband's father just passed away this month at the age of 96 so we understand the heartache even more closely. I love reading about the great impact that your parents had on all of the missionaries that are responding. Being in the mission field we could ask for no greater compliment. What a great legacy he has left. I love you.

President and Sister Rasmussen had an very positive influence in my life as a California Missionary. President Rasmussen's positive attitude and strong testimony has influence my life. I will always remember the spiritual influence he had on me. My sincere thoughts are with Sister Rasmussen and your family.

President and Sister Rasmussen were a real legend as a Mission President of the California Mission in Los Angeles. What leadership -- what an example -- what warmth and kindness.

President Rasmussen was my husband, Gerald's, mission president. Gerald died in 1981. President & Sister Rasmussen continued to be a wonderful support & influence in our lives.
I will always be grateful for their example and love. May the Lord bless Marie & their family at this time.

To Marie, Dee & Linda

I to this day, 37 years after having served with President Rasmussen, I think of myself as a CCM (Complete California Missionary) President and sister Rasmussen made a dramatic and lasting impression that has positively impacted my life and the life of my wife, children and grandchildren, and will do so through eternity. God be thanked for his life and all the good he was able to accomplish while here on earth. Our deepest sympathizes to Sister Rasmussen and other surviving family members,...

Words cannot describe the love I felt for Don. I work at the facility where he spent the last few years of his life. He was affectionately known as "Grandpa" to all the girls who helped care for him. Oh how I loved his big smile, his quick wit, and sense of humor. When you were down and needed a lift, he'd always start in with his favorite joke "There once was an Indian maid...", and we'd come back with "There was once an old man in church...". Grandpa loved sitting with us girls; joking...

We are sorry to hear about the loss of such a great man. You and your husband were such great examples to us as missionaries. When he sealed our daughter, his message made us feel closer to the Savior. Thank-you for your memories, and being part of our lives. Love Mark & Mary Kettle

What a wonderful man! I new Don H. Rasmussen and his wife, Marie, as President of the California Mission in 1966-67. He lived long and well. My love to Marie, a wonderful woman, and to his family.
