Don Schmanke

My father was a kind and generous man, always willing to do whatever it took to help a friend or family member. Everyone in the family has a story of how he helped them when a car had broken down, earning him the nickname "All Weather Rescue". He loved the outdoors and we will miss our summer trips to the mountains. He was particularly fond of a camping spot outside of Red River, New Mexico and always wanted to climb the hills behind them. I´m saddened by this news. Mr Schmanke was a kind and gentle soul. An American patriot, who served our country with distinction. Our heart felt condolences & prayers to the family.

My heart and prayers go out to the family of this wonderful man. So sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Schmanke but my heart tells me he´s smiling down on his family.
