Not sure what to say?

I was part of Wm. a. Hart Pony Baseball along with Don. I am glad we were friends. I miss our Friday lunch with other members of the league, & the laughs we shared. Don was a proud grandfather, father, & husband. His family was everything to him. I admired his dedication to his family and how he spoke of them. He spoke often how proud he was of his children, & his grandkids accomplishments.
I looked forward to being a grandmother one day. Well that day has come and now I walk the...

Don truly was a great man..and one of my greatest friends... he will truly be missed but never forgotten.... Love Jillian

Don extended his hand to a nine year old and made baseball fun again. Playing for him that Spring was unique not for the reason I was there, but for the memories of fun we had playing the games. He truly knew what youth sports was suppose to be about.

Both of our children went through the program at HART. Eventually, both my wife and I volunteered there. Don was a the rock that everything else was moored to. A no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is guy, he and I would always swap jokes back and forth. I haven't seen Don in years, but think of him often.

Our condolences go to his family and friends. We just lost a good one.

Grandpa

Thank you for being the best Father-in-Law anyone could ask for and the greatest grandfather to my children, Jason and Bridget. Nobody could ask for someone who had a bigger heart than you, always willing to help others, Love you lots and miss you more, Love Debbie

Don was truly the 'heart' of Wm S Hart Pony Baseball/Softball. I am a former Auxiliary Board member and can say he always kept everything running as smoothly as possible. He will be missed but fondly remembered by scores of youth and parents who lived at the fields for 9 months each year. My sincere sympathy to his family. Jennifer Forman

I'm so glad to be able to say that Don was our friend. His dedication to Hart Pony Baseball/Softball was so greatly appreciated. At any time, anything asked Don was willing to do whatever he could to help out. He made being a former President, for myself, and for my wife the Canteen Manager an easier road to travel knowing he was willing to go the extra mile. Don, we will miss you terribly.

I know the family only through Don's granddaughter
