Not sure what to say?

Don was a fantastic man in all respects. RIP Don and may perpetual light shine upon you.

I knew Don Shea since early 1967, and he was the Life of the Party many times at Anna Maria's Pizza in Durham, along with "Batman". He always had a smile to share. R.I.P.

Don will be missed by many - a truly honorable, caring person who would do more for anyone to see a smile on their face. He had become a personal friend of my family through our years attending the JVKK - Rest in Peace Don.

A super guy and a friend to all, Don always had a smile and a kind word. And his laughter could fill a room! I was proud to know him for nearly four decades. His presence and contributions were felt throughout our community. He will be well remembered and greatly missed.
"How do YOU spell sports? D-O-N S-H-E-A!"

Dear Don,
When I was younger, you brought my family up-to-the-minute sports reports directly into our living room each evening. Your hair was always coiffed in the latest style and, if I remember correctly, you weren't afraid of plaids.

Little did I know then that you would become a true friend to my family and we would all come to share actual good times in our living room. Don, you celebrated with us in good times and you helped us through times of grief. Your generosity was...

You knew me when I was a little kid late 60's early 70's playing at Mrs. Blalocks house. I remember the times you would play with me and my brother Steve. I remember the time you made our family so proud when you announced on your CH-11 Sportscast that my dad Mike Cederas hit a hole in one at Mike Rubishes Par 3 in Durham! You have ALWAYS treated me with respect through the years and one of the most geniune people I know. Thank you for coming up to me at the Hotel in Kansas City in 86 when...

We will forever remember OUR FRIEND, DON SHEA. HE HAS BEEN A GOOD FRIEND TO MANY AND ALWAYS BROUGHT LAUGHTER AND HAPPINESS FOR OLD TIMES AND OLD STORIES FROM YEARS PASSED. HE WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED IN ALL OF OUR HEARTS AS A TRULY SHINING STAR. Prayers are being said for DON's two SONS AND FOR ALL HIS FAMILY. Much Love, Sandy and Roger Watson. North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Don never met a stranger and was one of the nicest people I had the privilege of knowing. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
