Not sure what to say?

I feel very fortunate to have had Don as my father. He instilled in me a strong moral fiber and work ethic, and yes, a corny sense of humor, too. He taught me how to be self-sufficient, a good provider for my family, and to have a strong connection with nature. I cannot remember a time when our family was ever wanting for anything, regardless of the family's money situation.

Dad was well-liked by practically everyone he ever met. He had an easy-going and approachable demeanor...

My prayers for the whole family.

I personally didn't know Don Sherman, but I know the people that loved him and the good memories he left behind with them. I'm lucky to have gotten to know him just a little bit through them.

Dear Friends,

As I read your entries in Don's guest book, I'm reminded of so many happy times we spent. Yes, The Trip to Michigan, his smiles and when I asked what he was smiling about, he would tell me that he saw someone who didn't have one so he gave him one if his...his like-a-jokes...the laughter till our sides split and he was always in the middle of it. I miss it all and more. I know I'll never have a greater, more giving friend and he'll always be with me as he is with...

Grandpa,
I am grateful for the times we spent together, vacationing in Michigan, feeding the ducks around town, watching Shirley Temple movies, and going to Arturo's. I always thought it was so awesome that you would let me put as much brown sugar on my oatmeal as I wanted, and I still remember the silly little rhymes and songs you taught us. I really enjoyed your slight-of-hand tricks, and when we got older, margarita parties and cards. You were always so good at spoiling all of...

Dad,
A friend pointed out to me the other day that I have never said anything negative about my father. I realized that there are only positive feelings and emotions for you. You have always been there to keep me safe, secure, and loved. I could not ask for anything more. I hope when it is my time to go, that I have past on this legacy to my children. That through you I have learned to be the ever loving parent, always there, always listening, and giving whatever can be given. You were...

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...
