Not sure what to say?

I love you. I miss you so very much.

I was so glad to have been at Don's memorial service today. I've known him through the Unitarian Church for over 20 years but learned a lot today I never knew. Very touching to hear the memories of family and friends. And an art give-away - what a great idea!

I have never know a kinder or more gentle soul. Don was of tremendous help to me when I was Maintenance Committee chair at Rising Star Co-op. I enjoyed his stories, his humor and his mellow presence.

As a long time Maintenance Committee member, Don knew everything about he building. He was also a big fan of the Vancouver International Film Festival, purchasing a pass almost every year.

Don lived next door to me at Rising Star Cocop. Every sunday morning at about 10am we would hear his vw bug drive out of the parkade on the way to church. Never knew anyone else with such a routine.

I am very grateful for the genuine speech he gave me that finally had me quit smoking. He will be missed at Rising Star and he will always be remembered!
