Not sure what to say?

I remember during one of our conversations about how time passes, years pass so fast, don't seam like 9 years has passed Don, your not forgotten. See that Terry is in a long care facility in Amarillo at the same age as your home-going. Leave the dressing room open, we will see you sooner and later... RIP my friend!

To me he was my uncle Don who wrestled a bear! He was friends with my step father and my mother,, he used to give me and my sister money for each A and each B on our report cards from kindergarten to 2nd grade,, to me he was a great man always and forever,, may he be up in heaven causing havoc,, he was stubborn but gental in my eyes,, R. I. P.

I grew up in Odessa TX. I wakled by the Funk home to and from scholl, these guys and The Lawman were kind of heros to us kgrowing up, the good gys were just that. Sorry for your loss

SYLVIA-WE ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT DON.I HAVE BEEN IN MIDLAND 15 YEARS.MOM IS LEGALLY BLIND AND DOESN'T GET OUT EXCEPT TO GO TO GROCERY STORE-CAB DRIVERS TAKE HER--SHE COMES HERE A LOT WITH US BUT HAVEN'T GOTTEN HER TO LOVE YET--YOU TAKE CARE--GOD BLESS--DEBBIE BINION WOOD

Don Slatton was a very close friend of mine and I will miss him very much. One of his wrestling photos, of course autographed, has adorned my classroom at Bradshaw Pistol Academy for many years now. Don was good to me and was always good to others. I am sorry that I didn't get to attend his funeral or visitations due to my duties as a police officer. Don would understand that commitment to duty as that is how he lived too. Sylvia and Donna, he will be missed. Sincerely, Mike Herd

Sylvia and Donna,
I am so sorry for your loss, its been a long time since we were kids, but I do remember that he was always so kind and just genuine. You both will be in my thoughts and prayers.
