One need only read the many condolence messages herein to realize what a very special man Don was to so very many over an entire lifetime. My all too short a time of interactions with Don showed him to be an individual of high character, easy to converse with while humble to the quick, loved his family and country, had a strong belief in God and was of impeccable INTEGRITY. I have known Don since the 7th grade at Alamo and graduated with Don at Midland High in 1971. We raised Roller pigeons and went to many pigeon shows and Roller competitions . We were in AG. together at Midland High. Don was a Great Friend and he will be missed by many. RIP Don.
