Not sure what to say?

Karen and Family,

I knew Don years ago at Georgia State and after he started his first job which I have now learned became his lifelong career. I was shocked to see Don's smiling face at the front of the Metro Section. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Don was a great man and continued that in life. I was honored to know him and thoroughly enjoyed his energy and zest for life. I am happy that he continued to impact others and share himself with so many. I know he will...

Karen and Family:
When I think of the wonderful experiences I had at the Fowler/Peachtree Corners YMCA, I think of Don and Karen Vargo. Don was a wonderful friend, and defined my perception of the warm and welcoming community that defined the "Y". Don was a wonderful role model and friend, from his dedication and concern for others and the community, to the way in which the two of you raised your children. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you. Don will be missed, but...

Karen:

I'm so sad to hear of Don's passing. He was truly one the great guys. What a wondeful athlete and what a great sport. He was always so gracious and humble, especially when you placed at one of my events and he didn't! One of my favorite memories of Don was running the Atlanta Half with him and my son. All my best to you and your family.
