Don Nicholas Wattigny

Please accept my deepest sympathy of the loss of one of my beloved coaches. Coach Wattigny was a genuine man and I always admired him for his fine character. Surely he will be missed by all who knew him.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Coach Wattigny. I have great memories of playing for him at Karr Jr. High. I also had the good fortune of seeing him from time to time at various sporting events where he was watching and coaching his grandchildren. My condolences go out to the whole family. His memory will carry on in all of us that had the opportunity to play for him.

My condolences to Ms. Edith and the rest of the family. I was saddened to hear the news about coach. As everyone that coach came in coached or came in contact with, he touched my life as well. Coach was firm but fair, and mostly loving. It was an honor to be coached and mentored by him and most important as became an adult to be able to call him a friend as he also allowed me to volunteer as coach on his early tenured Karr teams. As all my memories, it will be a memory i will always cherish....

I was deeply saddened by the news of coach's passing. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family. Coach made a huge impact on the man I am today, always ready to help you with life's biggest questions and all the ups and downs a teenager encountered on a day to day basis. He made the type of impression that has stuck with me all these years and for that; I am forever grateful and blessed.
