Not sure what to say?

My sympathy goes out to family and friends of Don Wood, whom I had the honor of knowing while I worked at Providence Hospital, Portland, Oregon.

To Elder Wood's family:
We in the Atlanta Temple loved serving with your Dad and with Sister Wood. They add a spirit of joy to the work. We all feel much richer, much more blessed with our association together in those Camelot times. Thank you for sharing with us. We look forward to serving with him again.

This great man, President Wood, was such a tremendous influence in my life that I cannot choose the proper words to express that influence. As my mission president in the Northwestern States Mission, now over 50 years ago, he taught me so much and exerted such an influence in my life that I will forever be indebted to him and to Sister Wood. To the children and grandchildren, I want you to know I love you and that my love for President and Sister Wood is much like that of many, many other...

My thoughts and prayers are with the Wood family. Don was a dear friend and my mentor during our time together at ARUP. He touched many lives in a very positive way. God bless you my dear friend!

Our family loves Don and we have many wonderful memories of him. He was a man of noble dignity and character and was an example of living the pure love of Christ. He sealed our adopted granddaughter to her parents, and was a dear friend. He was a great presence in our lives and we cherish the time we had together.

I am so grateful to have known your father. He was not only my mission president when I was a young missionary, but also a good friend and co worker in the laboratory management field. He volunteered to come into our laboratory at Cottonwood Hospital in Murray, Utah and we hir d him to do just that. He was such a wonderful leader and teacher and motivated our laboratory supervisory staff. As a result of his work, several organizational changes were made and many improvements resulted. ...

Don and Geneal Wood Family

My grandpa has an amazing story. It is hard to decide what his legacy will be, because so many things describe who he was: Marine Sniper in the South Pacific during WWII, Father of five, Husband, Grandfather, Missionary, Patriarch, Temple Sealer, Business Leader, and Friend. But I think the thing he would hope we would remember is that he is a follower of Jesus Christ and that tonight when he returned home to his Maker, he did so having a clear conscience, having lived his life in service of...
