Not sure what to say?

I had the opportunity to have a lunch with Don Young a few years ago. Such a gracious gentlemen, a man of utmost character. We here in Alaska will miss him. My sincerest condolences go to his wife and family.

Puerto Rico has lost its champion for equal rights, a true friend in the fight for equality, Congressman Don Young.

On March 29, I had the privilege and honor of representing our Delegation of the Statehood Party (PNP) of the Puerto Rico House of Representatives at our Nation’s Capitol to bid farewell to Congressman Young.

To his wife Anne, to his direct and extended family, our prayers go to them. RIP Don Young.

As you mourn your loss, may you be comforted that Don died while doing what he loved most and committed his life to...service to Alaskans and his country. The penultimate Alaskan, there will never be anyone like him.

My condolences, Victoria Kjos
