Not sure what to say?

At the time of her death, I was recovering from injuries from an auto accident. Altho it is my loss to not have been in touch all these years since my husband, Richard's death in 2003, I am sure it was provident I did not learn of this when it happened. I am stronger now, and so sorry to have lost my friend from college. Peace to all who worked with her, and her family, and all who loved her.

Dona's compassion for low-income and homeless persons was inspiring and continues to be beyond her passing. It was such a privilege to know her and to work alongside her. My deepest sympathies to her family and to the many who loved her.

"There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded towards your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land" ~Deuteronomy 15:7-11
I am sure God has said to you Dona, job well done. I didnt know you long, but your passion and love of others was what gleemed from within.
All were blessed by you.
Lora Henderson

As the years have gone by I have rarely seen Dona, but she will always be very special to me. We had many great times together. I dearly loved her and am sorry that she left us. Peace

Dona was one of the most caring and kind persons that I ever had the pleasure to know. We have lost one of our best. My deepest sympathy to Dona's family and friends.

I am so saddened to learn of Dona's passing. I served with Dona on a variety of committees, and she was tireless in her efforts to help those less fortunate. In addition, she demonstrated remarkable courage and spirit in her battle with cancer. She will be deeply missed.

Dona is an inspiration for our service at the Americana Community Center, where she served as Board member, friend, advisor. Her influence never will end, her example never will disappear. We celebrate her life.

Dona, I have no words to convey the thoughts that I have for you and your family. Your actions rippled through the community and touched many people you never knew.
Like rock dropped into a still pond and one wave touches the next.
You will be missed.

Dona was an inspiration, a role model, and a friend. There are no words to adequately describe how much she will be missed. We are blessed to have had her in our lives.
