To the Sparkman Family,
I am sorry for your loss. I met Dona in 1987 at Caltrans when I got hired as a Student Assistant. She was a wonderful person, always smiling and a pleasure to talk to. Recently at a retirement luncheon, I was fortunate to see her and talk to her. I will truly miss her.

My condolences to Dona’s family.

To Kelly, Brian, Chris and families.- I am so sorry to learn of your mother's (grandmother's) passing. She must have been a wonderful person, and I know she will be very much missed. My best to all the Sparkman family. Grandma Beth (Kathy Goss' mother).

Dona was an amazing person who always had time to give assistance or advice regardless of how busy her own schedule was. I have many memories but probably my fondest ones come from the times I had the privilege of wearing the Santa suit on Christmas Eve. It was a treat to catch a glimpse of how she orchestrated everything to perfection ensuring a joyous holiday for entire family. ...
