I met Don at the sunset of his life- but what a dear man of God he was! In spite of his physical infirmities, he was always upbeat and counted himself as a much-blessed man. We had some spirited discussions riding to and from church and he always had a word of wisdom for me! I will miss you, my friend- but I rejoice that we will meet again one day! Praying God's peace and comfort for his family in the coming days...

True Salt and Light in a world needing the truth of the Gospel. Don was a great mentor and could always be counted on for sound advice. He will be missed.

Don and I used to laugh about the memories of "Bull" Bramlett. I'm from Memphis and Nancy Bramlett used to attend my mom's lady's bible class there. She attributes my mom leading her to Christ and then Nancy leading "The Bull" to Christ. As we sat together at my parents 50th wedding anniversary dinner John talked about how much he enjoyed the prison ministry. When he knew where I lived he asked about Don. Boy, did I perk up! Such good memories of sharing what God can do in anyone's life and what a truly small world it is. I will miss that precious believer who put God first in everything. He was a blessing. Pattie Lane
