Not sure what to say?

Dear Heidi and Rachel...I just stumbled upon this sadly to learn of Donald's passing. My heart goes out to you both and pray that you are fine. I knew Donald in Brooklyn College...we had a speech class together and later became close friends. I had just put up the song "Ne me quite pas" from "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" and thought of Donald or Don as I knew him then, for we had seen that movie and everyone at that time loved the song...and started to look for him to say hi and sadly found...

Dear Heidi and Rachel,
I was shocked to read of Donald's passing which I happened upon just by chance. As his only cousin on Edna's side of the family, I knew him since the first week of his life. Although I wasn't in contact too often, I thought about him many times and what a beautiful and smart boy he was, and how much everyone in the family loved him.

Heidi,Rachel
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Donald's passing. My prayers and love go out to both of you during this difficult time. Donald was the most interesting person I've ever met. Incredible memory, true talent, great cook, quick wit and not afraid to speak his mind. Over 25 years that I knew Donald, his kindness was evident in all he did. Donald will be missed in human form, but he will always be in our hearts and memories.
Love you both,
Craig

As you gather to remember Donald, I can only say I wish I had known him. He sounds exactly the kind of person to inspire and warm the hearts of those around him. Deepest sympathy, cousin Roberta

Heidi,
Sue and I are both shocked and saddened to receive the news of Donald's passing and grieve for you both. We cannot, however, help but recall with great happiness and warmth, all of the memories we have of you and your family back on Eastwood Drive, especially with Rachel at BAT and the Downtown Singers performances when you and her mom sang the Messiah, and Don and Rachel helped out with the bake sales. Our hearts, prayers and our love go out to you both.

Don's sense of humor and his enthusiasm and energy will live on in all of us,
Lew Sellinger

My condolences to your family, during this difficult time may you draw close to god and he will draw closer to you(james 4:8)

My Prayers go out to the extended family & Friends of Mr. Allen. In death comes new life a new begining may Donald Find everlasting peace

Heidi and Rachel,
Words cannot express my sympathy. I enjoyed spending time with the three of you last winter. I wish you the best in this time and send my greatest respects to Donald. With Love.
